I have a 1984 mercedes 190 D, with apex -30mm springs, I am looking to buy b6 or b8 dampers, which would suit best? Rear Bilstein B8 - Sprint Shock Absorber - 24-014700

My car will soon be running a modified 2.3 8v m102 engine amongst other modifications.

In general, B6 dampers are meant for applications that will retain your car's stock height. On the other hand, B8 dampers are designed for lowered applications.

So if your Apex springs will lower your vehicle by -30mm. We suggest looking for an applicable B8 damper.
